The results for UPSC prelims 2019 exam, conducted by UPSC on 2nd June 2019, or IAS Result 2019 has been declared in August 2019. Around 13000 students have cleared their UPSC Prelims exam and are eligible to appear for UPSC Mains 2019

One list for the candidates who qualified for the UPSC IAS main exam. The second list is for candidates who qualified for UPSC IFS mains exam. The civil services examination is conducted by the UPSC annually in three stages — preliminary, main and interview — to select officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others. The preliminary examination consists of two papers — Paper I and Paper II of two hours duration each. There were 2,186 venues in 71 centres (or cities) across the country.

Only 50% of the students who applied for UPSC Prelims exam 2019, sat for the exam on 2nd June 2019, and only 5% of those cleared their exam to appear in the UPSC Mains exam, which will be help in October 2019. The UPSC Prelims Result 2019 was declared in around 2 months from the date of the exam.

Next Steps for UPSC Mains 2019 Online Registration-

The Process UPSC Exam Registration Comprises Three Steps:-

  1. FEE PAYMENT
  1. EXAMINATION CENTRE HAS TO BE CHOSEN FROM THE AVAILABLE DROP DOWN MENU.
  1. UPLOADING OF PHOTOGRAPH
  1. UPLOADING OF SIGNATURE

Candidate has the option to either agree or disagree with the contents of Declaration by clicking on ‘I have read Declaration & Agree’ or ‘I Do Not Agree’ buttons. Accepting to agree only will submit the candidate’s Online Application.

FOR FEE PAYMENT CANDIDATES HAVE THREE OPTIONS:

  1. THEY CAN PAY CASH AT ANY BRANCH OF STATE BANK OF INDIA THROUGH THE PAY-IN-SLIP GENERATED BY THE ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS.
  1. THEY CAN PAY ONLINE USING THE INTERNET BANKING FACILITY OF THE STATE BANK OF INDIA/STATE BANK OF BIKANER & JAIPUR/STATE BANK OF HYDERBAND/STATE BANK OF MYSORE/STATE BANK OF PATIALA/STATE BANK OF TRAVANCORE IF THEY ARE CUSTOMERS OF THESE BANKS AND HAVING THEIR INTERNET BANKING FACILITY.
  1. THEY CAN PAY ONLINE USING ANY VISA/MASTER DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD ISSUED BY ANY BANK/INSTITUTION.

All the qualified candidates are advised to fill up the Detailed Application Form online for civil services (main) examination, to be held from October, a statement issued by the UPSC said.
