Study Plan for CA Final Exams Nov 2017

  1. A student is required to prepare thoroughly for examinations well in advance and to devote at least two hours daily for studies while undergoing Articled Training.
  2. During leave period at least 14 to 16 hours’ hard work is required.
  3. Avoid mobiles, internet and television as far as possible.
  4. Students must study from study material and do practice from practice manual. Wherever a particular topic or point is not clear, a student may refer to a standard text/reference book.
  5. Students should refer suggested answers of questions set in last five/six examinations and Revision Test Papers. It is strongly recommended to solve the questions first without referring to solutions and then comparing the answers with the solutions given. Such an approach would help in knowing point of mistake and presentation pattern of an answer.
  6. In law papers, Section and its provision is to be given correctly. If a student is not sure about the Section number then he should not quote the same.

  9. saurav says

its too tough.CA final hai Bcom nahi.Make some realistic plan

  10. Akshaydeep Sharma says

Its better to study one or max two subjects at a time rather than every subject everyday. Subjects like costing and FR which have sums like consol taking 30 min each.. 2 hours a days is very less.. you cannot finish the portion in 120 hours. CA Final classes only take 3 hours a day for 60 days for these subjects.. impossible to finish on own effort in lesser time.

  11. meenaxi says

i thik this plan not perfect….yes it will be helpful for students

  12. meenaxi says

yes this study plan may be helpful….but i thik this plan is not perfect because it is too tough

  13. Saan De says

for toughest course, u will need tough preparation for exams 🙂

  14. Lucky says

Plz dont follow this plan. Any plan which tells you to sleep for less than 7-8 hours is not worth reading.
Putting science back in studies- no matter for what you are preparing be it studies or any other activity like sports. You need 7-8 hours of quality sleep( sleep without interruption or break up of sleep) if you strain your body physically or mentally more than normal.
I did the same mistake in may 15 attempt . I slept for 8 hours but i altered my sleep cycle so badly it cost me 6 months. I used to sleep from 5am to 2pm and study rest of time for 3 months . In the last 15 days my body coudnt cope with the normal sleep time of 11-7 and this cost me everything. I was not able to get sleep for more than 90 min at a time. I blacked out in FR and it was over. 3 months of bardwork in vain. Plz sleep properly when studying hard.

  15. Saan De says

yes. you r right. But the plan (Morning to Night time table) has given by icai in ca students journal.

  16. Suruchi says

Plzzz put such study planner for cs executive students

  17. govind choudhary says

  18. Kamal says

Yes dude correct… sleep and eatting shouldnt be compromised

  19. ASHISH GARG says

if every student follw this strategy then perhaps u may be next ca after this as god wish

  20. sangeeta says

My attempt is due in may 2016 and i want to appear for both group .please share your planned schedule.

  21. Hari Priya says

yes , one should sleep atleast 6 hrs a day. it keeps our mind to concentrate on the work

  22. Richa says

I tried a plan just like you…only 5 hours of sleep a day every thing was just fine but during the last few days of exams….I started getting dizzy and nauseous and could not even make out the meaning of sentences……that too before 5 days before the exams…..i screwed my exam papers…all eight of them….I was asked by my doctors to stop studying and just sleep…..So my personal opinion DO NOT COMPROMISE YOUR SLEEP WITH YOUR ANY WORK…..IT WILL RUIN EVERY THING UP….. It will make things worse….

  23. Rubboyhamus says

Congratulations! You are a total crap! There’s no way someone could sleep just 5 hrs a day and study 14 hrs daily. Even the daytime as you mentioned, just one hr of sleep, you will end up sleeping more hrs since u slept 4 hrs at night. Guys grow up! If you slept just 4 hrs,do u think u would be able to study properly during the day? No. At least 6.5 hrs u should fix for sleep time so that u won’t feel dizzy during the day n study effectively.

  24. Rubboyhamus says

Exactly, there is a point. I know this feel. Compromising sleep is the hell u create for yourself. Get some good 6.5 hrs sleep a day n this will give u quality study

  25. gajendra says

it’s not good to read every subject every day. You should focus on 1 subject one day.
    schedule is-
    (FIRST REVISION) with study material

    1. LAW – 10 DAYS
    2 FINANCIAL REPORTING – 13 DAYS
    3. ADVANCE AUDIT AND ETHICS – 12 DAYS
    4. SFM – 10 DAYS
    5. AMA 10 DAYS
    6. DT 15 DAYS
    7. IDT 12 DAYS
    8. ISCA 10 DAYS

First start with low then financial reporting and other next because you understood very well company lows and accounting standard first. which help in next subjects study.

    NOW SECOND REVISON START
    low – 3 days
    fr – 5 days
    audit – 5 days
    sfm – 4 days
    ama – 4 days
    dt – 5 days
    idt – 5 days
    isca 3 days

total days 126 days and now you have only 26 days more.

1 day break don’t read anything just enjoy

    now start 3rd revision
read and practice rtp and practice manual
    2 days for every subject.

now you have more 8 days
1 day 1 subject revision and extra in which chapter you are weak revise this.
last day read subject in which you are going for exam.

Note. – when u start with new subject just see your full study material of subject and then decide which chapter clear in which time.

i am also study for c.a final exam so my aim is 100 pages read and learn every day.
this is overall average of every subject.

READ NOTES ON NOTEBOOK EXAMPLE-WHEN STUDY LOW THEN WRITE ONLY HEADING WITH SECTIONS .

    best of luck
