ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a global professional body which provides highly respected and valued international qualification in the business. ACCA Exams are recognized by member states of the European Union and the United Nations.
About ACCA – ACCA Meaning
ACCA exams test accounting knowledge, business skills and professional values which help students build a successful career in the area of global accountancy. This course majorly focuses on accountancy, financial management and performance management. This course is necessary for professionalism and ethics in accounting. ACCA has worldwide 92 offices and more than 8500+ employers who provide high standard of learning.
ACCA Course Structure
ACCA exams comprise of two levels with different modules in each of them. Following are the subjects related to each module.
Level 1: Fundamental level comprises of two modules
F1 (AB) Accountant in Business,
F2 (MA) Management Accounting
F3 (FA) Financial Accounting
Level 2: Skill module comprises of six papers
F4 (CL) Corporate and Business Law
F5 (PM) Performance Management
F6 (TX) Taxation
F7 (FR) Financial Reporting
F8 (AA) Audit and Assurance
F9 (FM) Financial Management
Level 3: Professional level comprises of two modules
Essential Module comprises of three paper
P1 GRE Governance, Risk and Ethics
P2 CR Corporate Reporting
P3 BA Business Analysis
Optional Modules comprises of four papers but you have to select only two from them.
P4 AFM Advanced Financial Management
P5 APM Advanced Performance Management
P6 ATX Advanced Taxation
P7 AAA Advanced Audit and Assurance
ACCA Exams Course Duration
ACCA has four exam session every year and a student can appear for four papers in a session, and not more than eight paper per year so, in two year a student can complete all the exams.
Also, a student need to have three years practical work experience. Minimum duration of 30 months is required to complete the qualification for ACCA member.

ACCA Exemptions
In ACCA exams, exemptions are provided based on the prior qualification and respect to that exemption fees are to be paid. A student can get an exemption from nine papers of the fundamental level (it includes ACCA Knowledge level and ACCA Skill level) considering earlier qualification. You cannot exempt from ACCA Professional level papers.
